Family Friendly Belfast

Family Friendly Belfast is an initiative which has been developed by Belfast Strategic Partnership to work collaboratively with families, community groups, voluntary and statutory organisations and businesses to ensure that:

‘Belfast is a city where families feel they are welcome and safe.’

Family Friendly Belfast seeks to promote affordable, family friendly activities across the city that are accessible and welcoming to all families. The work of Family Friendly Belfast is organised through a working group which represents a range of local stakeholders.

                                     

For the past three years, activities organised through Family Friendly Belfast have been funded by the Public Health Agency.  A range of events have taken place including indoor picnics in the Oh Yeah Music Centre, family movies at the Ulster Hall, bicycle rides around the city and a food adventure in the Ulster Museum.
